Photorejuvenation treatments are used to improve rosacea, broken capillaries, sun damage, skin texture, age spots, mild acne, and irregular pigmentation. It may also reduce fine lines and wrinkles, as well as large pores.

What does Photorejuvenation actually do?

The light delivers a series of gentle pulses of light into the skin. The light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the blood vessels and areas of irregular pigmentation. The body can then begin its natural healing process of re-absorbation of the treated area.

How many treatments will I need?

What can I expect during the treatment?

The areas to be treated will be cleansed and you will be asked to put on protective goggles.

The actual procedure can last anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes. As the procedure is being performed, you will feel a gentle warming of your skin. The procedure is not painful; many patients report that it is relaxing. After the treatment, a cool compress will be applied to the skin then a gentle moisturizer and sunscreen. Your skin may appear mildly flushed for several hours. Immediately after treatment, you may resume your regular activities.
